Amphidromus perversus borneensis (Pilsbry, 1900)
“About twenty specimens, parts of which are sinistral. They are all without the characteristic yellow ground usually so strong in this species; they are strongly market and resemble the variety B. interruptus, Brug. All are larger and more solid than usual. Mr. Doherty states that each variety occupies a distinct area.” (Aldrich, 1889)
“Based on a stout variant of the interruptus pattern, whitish in background color, and rather similar to the Javanese subspecies, emaciatus. It was described from South Borneo in the Bandjermassin District, but there are specimens in the Leiden Museum from East Borneo. The flammulations above the periphery are reduced in number. Possibly this may prove to be a subspecies, but not enough data are available.” (Laidlaw & Solem, 1961)
