Morphology:
Möllendorff (1897) descriptions on Carychium javanum – “T. rimata, subcylindrico-oblonga, tenuis, pellucida, hyalino-alba, subtiliter striatula. Spira subcylindrica, superne conoidea apice obtusulo. Anfr. 6 modice convexi, Apertura valde obliqua, ovalis, modice excisa, peristoma sat expansum, continuum, superne late appressum; margo externus subsinuosus, subcallossus. Lamella columellaris valida, sub-horizontalis.”
