Everettia planior E. A. Smith, 1895
“The above dimensions are those of the largest of the eight specimens in the Museum. On comparing them with examples of E. consul of the same size, it is seen that they consist of half a whorl less, which give quite a different look to the spire. This is distinctly less elevated, and the body-whorl, seen from above, appears to be rather broader. The colour is about the same in both species and the sculpture very similar, but the spiral striae upon the base of the present species are a triffle more distinct than in E. consul.” (E. A. Everettia planior – “Diam. maj. 19.5 millim., min. 17, alt. 10.” (E. A. Smith, 1895); “Pulo Miang - diam. maj. 16½ mm, min. 14 mm, Höhe 8 mm, Mündung 9 mm lang und 6½ mm breit, 5¾ Umgänge, Farbe sehr blaß gelblich. Sekuran - diam. maj. 14½ mm, min. 12 1/3 mm, Höhe 8 mm, Mündung 8 mm lang und 5½ mm breit, Umgänge 5½, Färbung glänzend blaßgelb. Es ist mir nicht ganz zweifellos, ob die vorliegenden Stücke zu dieser Art gehören.” (Marten, 1908)
